World University of Bangladesh

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) is a private university in Uttara, Dhaka, established in 2003. It is a general university with business, science and engineering, and arts and humanities faculties. The Ulkaa Edu Rank 2027 places World University of Bangladesh in the 41-50 band. The position is computed from the published methodology. In the QS Asia University Rankings 2026 it sits in the 1301-1400 band. The THE World University Rankings 2027 lists it as a Reporter institution. UGC figures record 3,976 students (2023) and 178 teachers, 24 of them with a PhD (2023).
